Greg: Woodpile Cub

What’s your name?: Greg.

Where are you from?: Winnipeg Manitoba.

How old are you?: 24.

A Canadian, eh? Now why do I find that soooo sexy?: Because we ARE sexy. No, but on the serious, it’s probably just our reputation for being fun, friendly folk I guess. Oh, and we brew good beer. You’d have to decide for yourself why you think that is and let me know.

What’s your ethnic background?: Pretty run of the mill Scottish/Irish mutt. I’m told I have a bit of Czechoslovakian in me (not sure though whether it’s Czech or Slovak, the end of the Cold War kind of got me wondering).

What do you do for a living?: I’m a student. I’ll be graduating with my bachelor’s degree in Economics next month. I also two part time jobs as a writing skills tutor and a teaching assistant at the university. I’ve been accepted to Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto and am excited to be moving there in August.

What do you do for fun?: Nothing that ought to raise any eyebrows. I enjoy movies (my favourite film is Eternal Sunshine, and I recently fell in love with There Will Be Blood), music (anything in the realm of anti-folk, but my tastes are pretty eclectic), theatre, travel. I work out four days a week, and love to hike, cycle, rollerblade and run.

Are you a bad boy in bed or strictly a gentleman?: I’ve been told that I’m pretty good when I’m bad. Let’s be honest, the bedroom is no place for gentlemen.

What kind of guy turns you on?: Masculinity is my only real deal-breaker. Otherwise, I find a lot of different types of men attractive. I will admit that intelligent, funny, tall, bearded, beefy and solid, confident men almost ALWAYS make me melt into a puddle on the floor.

Tell us about your ink?: I have two tattoos - the one you can see on my chest I’ve had since I was 17, it means ‘memory’ in Japanese. I’m thinking about getting something put over it eventually. I also have a tattoo on my right calf that says “No Day But Today”. That one I had done when I was 20. Ink can be pretty hot on the right guy.

Any piercings we should know about?: None whatsoever.

Do you hang out with cubs and bears? You go to bear events?: I definitely enjoy hanging out with cubs and bears. I went to my first bear event last year near New York City and am heading to my second this May: Bear Pride in Chicago. I’m told it’s a great event and that Chicago is a fun city.

Do you like to travel?: I do. Time constraints usually keep me from traveling as much as I’d like but I get all over Canada regularly and to New York every year or so. I’m pretty adventurous and would travel almost anywhere in the world given the opportunity.

So who’s got the best bear men in the world?: I have no clue. Ask me again after I’ve had a chance to travel some more. I’m told Spain is home to a lot of woofy men.

What are you looking for in a guy? One-night or Long-term?: All of the above. Strong, close friendships are one of the most important necessities and so those are my priority. That being said, if only one night is on the table, bring it on (though we don’t have to do it on the table). My hope is to be in a long-term relationship with a great guy sooner or later. In the meantime I’m open-minded and warm-blooded.
